Cardi B Finally Revealed Her BTS Bias

Over the years, Cardi B has proven to be a real ARMY time and time again. The Bronx native has shown her love for BTS multiple times on social media and has also been spotted listening to bops by the South Korean septet more than once. Cardi’s history with BTS is well documented but the one thing she hadn’t yet done was reveal her bias — until now, of course.

On July 1, Cardi took to Twitter to host a candid “#AskCardi” Q&A session where she chatted about everything from her family dynamics to her future albums and, of course, BTS. The “WAP” singer was asked who her favorite BTS member was and she let the images do the talking for this one. (You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!)

Responding to a fan who inquired who Cardi’s bias was, the artist simply decided to attach a picture of Jimin. Or, a closeup of Jimin in a group shot from the 2022 Grammys to be precise.

Speaking of the Grammys, Cardi and BTS first met at the ceremony back in 2019 and made sure to immortalize the occasion with a pic on Twitter. “You guys are soooo sweet and nice,” Cardi wrote retweeting BTS’s post at the time. Since then, it’s all been uphill.

Though Cardi revealed in late 2021 that the ARMY crown in her household goes to 3-year-old daughter Kulture, she has plenty of love for Bangtan and they were even meant to collaborate at one point.

“I was supposed to be on a record with them, but I had just released a record, and then it was going to smash with the time. But I love them,” Cardi told Variety in 2021. With Cardi currently gearing up for the release of her sophomore studio album and the group embarking on their own new chapters with a focus on solo albums, we can cross our fingers that Jimin (or all of BTS) might make an appearance on Cardi’s second full-length project. Better late than never, right?
