I’ve been sharing lots of packed lunch ideas for kids recently but sometimes I think it’s important to emphasise that there is nothing wrong with a plain old sandwich too!

I know that lots of children don’t like crusts on their sandwiches so today I’m sharing this easy way to make your own crustless sandwiches for their lunch box.

Make the sandwich as normal. I used cheese is this one but any type of simple sandwich will be fine.

Use a round pastry cutter to cut out the centre of the sandwich.

A round pastry cutter is used to shape sandwich.

Take a fork and press down the sides to seal it together.

Sandwich cut into a round shape using the pastry cutter, and a fork is being used to crimp/seal the sides.

Add it to a lunch box with any other foods that they enjoy.

I added chopped veggies, fruit, hummus, pretzels and mini biscuits.
