Summer may be coming to an end, but eating light and healthy definitely doesn’t have to. This salad is a go-to all year around to ring back those delicious summer flavours while being healthy and nutritious and full of fibre that your body will thank you for.
Watermelon is full of water content that helps keep you staying hydrated and it actually does have fibre content. There’s about 0.3 grams of fibre per 100 grams or 2/3 cups of watermelon.
Is Watermelon Keto?
Watermelon is somewhat low in carbs and is a great addition when cravings hit. Keep in mind that there are natural sugars in watermelon that may spike your insulin.
Try to limit watermelon to 1 cup a serving, that way you will keep the carb count low, and keep blood sugars regulated. Also note that it is high in FODMAPS if that’s something you are looking out for.

Watermelon Feta Salad Ingredients
- fresh arugula
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- apple cider vinegar
- fresh herbs, optional to taste (mint, parsley, oregano, basil, or dill)
