“Ginny & Georgia” Season 2 Is Coming Sooner Than You Think

The first season of Ginny & Georgia ended on a massive cliffhanger, which seriously complicates the plot of season 2. Just in case you don’t remember — which is fair, season 1 did debut at the top of 2021 — the final episode saw Ginny running away from home with her little brother Austin, riding Marcus’ motorcycle, mind you. This was after Ginny’s friend group discovered that Marcus and Ginny had been hooking up behind Hunter’s back, after Marcus and Max had their own sibling blowup, and after Georgia seemingly got away with actual murder. 

Will MANG be able to recover from this? How long will it be until Georgia realizes Austin and Ginny are gone? Who’s going to go looking for them? Will Georgia’s secret finally be uncovered?

While speaking to Seventeen back in November 2021, star Antonia Gentry teased some of the drama that’s close on the horizon. “For season 2, the stakes are much higher now — obviously — than we left off with season 1,” she said. “So, I think fans will be in for a lot of wonderful tension, a lot of building up to climax, and a couple of interesting characters will be revealed.” Whew. Buckle up, y’all!

When is Ginny & Georgia Season 2 coming out on Netflix? Is there a trailer?

According to a post shared by the official behind-the-scenes Instagram account of Ginny & Georgia, season 2 wrapped in late April 2022.

“Thank you so much to everyone on the cast and crew for pouring their talents passion and care into the last 6 months. And thank you to the fans who love the show — you’re what pushed us through the winter,” the caption read, written by series creator Sarah Lampert. “Now we still have to do post production and don’t know yet when we are dropping!! — me already knowing what the comment section will be on this 😉❤️.”
