In the middle of Gryffin‘s Alive tour debut at The Brooklyn Mirage came an unidentified rework of his album pairing with MØ. That version belonged to none other than Last Heroes, who remixed the anthemic joint effort known as “Reckless.” Following Frank Walker‘s piano-heavy undertaking, “Reckless” receives a pulsing, electro-angled transformation that touches the ends of both house and bass. And Last Heroes were actually in attendance when Gryffin debuted it in Brooklyn at the beginning of August considering they’d just played an opening slot for him a couple of hours prior.
Thus far in 2022, Last Heroes have manufactured official reworks for the likes of ILLENIUM, Dabin, and now, Gryffin, on top of having dispatched several collaborative originals that include “Start It Over” and “Safe & Sound.” With a slew of dates aboard Jason Ross‘ forthcoming The Atlas Tour, Last Heroes will continue to take their “Reckless” remix out on the road in the months to come.
