Blink and you might just have missed Lizzo’s temporary stint as a bronde. Currently in the midst of a tour, Lizzo tried something new with her hair, and debuted an autumn-approved shade of brown-meets-blonde.
The dye job made its debut during Lizzo’s recent St. Paul show. As pointed out by her go-to MUA Alexx Mayo, Lizzo had a “fantasy bronze beauty” moment, complete with a glowing makeup palette and new hair.
Per Mayo’s Instagram photo, Lizzo presumably wore a brunette wig with streaks of honey blonde. The style, which was completed by Shelby Swain, featured a middle part and soft, face-framing waves. The honey highlights were completely subtle, and paired perfectly with the singer’s neutral-colored makeup palette. Her bronde hair came after a crimped style that featured pink highlights and a darker colored wig with thin, platinum streaks.
If you’re hoping to recreate Lizzo’s performance-ready glam, Mayo revealed that he used Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Beautifying Palette in the deep medium shade, as well as the brand’s Hypnotizing Pop Shots in Sunlit Diamond. Of course, no eye makeup is complete without lashes, and Lizzo sported Lily Lashes in “So Extra Miami.”
Although we totally loved Lizzo as a bronde, we’re equally enamored with her next transformation. For her Kansas City show, Lizzo was back to a shade of dark black, and her once straight hair was pulled into a curly and voluminous ponytail. She relied on more colorful makeup, channeling a “green goddess” with Mayo’s choice of all-green eye makeup.
