Over the course of the past year North West, the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has made a name for herself as one of the most stylish nine-year-olds in showbiz. She’s been sighted in sneakers (Vans, Yeezys, and rare Converse kicks) that outdo her father’s own Yeezy collection, while she attended the late Virgil Abloh’s Miami show at the end of 2021 in a vintage Pyrex T-shirt that rivaled the fits worn by the likes of Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, 21 Savage, and Metro Boomin’, who were in attendance.
Now the burgeoning stylist (she reportedly styled her siblings for a shoot in Vogue late last year) has made another fashion statement. Attending Haute Couture Fashion Week, which is currently taking place in Paris, she stepped out in an outfit that actually even distracted – believe it or not – from Kardashian’s highlighter-cum-camo fit. North West slipped in an oversized navy and red jacket, shell trousers, and a pair of Balenciaga’s Crocs stompers akin to Ye’s own. In her hand she carried a Balenciaga bag, which we assume she stole from her mother’s own vast collection – Kardashian is famously one of the brand’s ambassadors.

It was her jacket, however, that made this a special moment. For those in the know, the varsity jacket comes from the brand Pastelle, which was a streetwear label that was actually founded by Kanye West in 2004. Then the rapper could be seen wearing the same jacket as North during his early stage shows, including on stage at the 2008 American Music Awards.
