The “Heartstopper” Cast Responding to Pride Protestors Will Fill You With Joy

Watching the cast of Heartstopper respond to protestors at London Pride is the most joyful thing you’ll witness today. 

As noted by the Independent, stars from the hit Netflix series were among those attending Saturday’s London Pride festivities. At one point, their parade group came across a section of protestors. In video shared by the Independent and across social media, you could see as Joe Locke and Sebastian Craft join other participants in responding.

Stepping closer towards the barricades, the pair happily dance along to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” middle fingers proudly displayed. 

Sharing video of what occurred on Twitter, Kit Connor wrote, “uhhh I was videoing and screaming at them but please don’t be mistaken, it wasn’t ’Kit Connor and the rest of the cast’, it was @joelocke03 and @SebastianCroft front and centre. Please give them the credit for doing something so powerful.”

Joe addressed what occurred, writing, “Had to do my job properly.” He completed his response with a shrug emoji. Sebastian simply tweeted, “Love always wins.”
