Walker & Royce, Nala’s dispense latest house cut “Not About You”

“Not About You” was written with one goal in mind: make listeners dance. Walker & Royce and Nala have formally convened on Black Book Records to deliver their grungry house cut, which traces back to an ID as early as EDC Las Vegas thanks to support from the label boss Chris Lake as well as Tiësto, Noizu, and more.

Nala explained on an Instagram post that “Not about You” paid homage to “the expectations of dance music artists needing to pick one sound/one genre/one identity, in order to be successful in this industry.” Having already ventured into indie dance, breaks, electro, and house, Nala has continually shown success across the board. And “Not About You” is even a slight crossover for Walker & Royce as they experiment with a bass-house leaning synth before dropping into their heavy-set drums.
